I tried most of these. Some of them for years.

Not because I was foolish — because I genuinely wanted to feel better, and these are what the wellness world kept telling me to do.

But when your nervous system is already exhausted, most mainstream wellness advice is asking the wrong thing of your body. More shock. More discipline. More output. More optimization.

What my body actually needed was something most wellness trends don’t sell: safety signals. Repetition. Permission to slow down without calling it failure.

That’s what I share here — not trends, not hacks. Just what actually worked for a body that had been in survival mode for over a decade.

For years I thought I was the problem.

Too sensitive. Too tired. Too much to handle.

I kept trying to fix myself. Better routine. More discipline. Different strategy.

What I didn’t know was that my body wasn’t broken.

It was dysregulated. And there’s a difference.

If you’ve been managing yourself like a problem to solve — this is for you.

I made a free guide. 5 signals your nervous system has been sending you for years. Plain language. No protocols. Just finally having the words.

Free. Link in bio.

Regulate. Heal. Return.

I grew up in a home where Gurbani from Darbar Sahib played on the radio at 4am.

I still remember being ten years old — the same room, my parents, my brother, that sound filling the house before the day asked anything of us.

Nobody called it nervous system regulation then. But that’s exactly what it was.

I also grew up learning that a good girl knows her kitchen, her stitching, her place. That duty comes before need. That you serve everyone else first and call what’s left over your life.

We didn’t call that dysregulation either. We called it being a good daughter. A good daughter-in-law. A good woman.

I carried both of those things into adulthood — the early morning peace I’d been taught to receive, and the lifelong performance I’d been taught to maintain.

For decades the performance won.

Now I’m forty-six, building something on Instagram I never could have imagined at ten — trying to find my way back to the feeling of that 4am room. That safety. That stillness before the world’s expectations arrived.

That’s what nervous system healing means to me.

Not a technique. Not a protocol.

A return to something I already knew — before I was taught to override it.

If you grew up in a home like mine — where peace existed, and duty followed close behind — this page is for you.

Some part of me still believes that if I stop, people will think I can’t keep up.

So I vacuumed sick. Cooked sick. Drove for groceries and then opened my laptop — all in the same day, all while my body was clearly asking for something different.

None of it was urgent. I just couldn’t let myself stop. One day of pushing through turned into three days I didn’t get to plan. My body took the rest I wouldn’t choose. It always does.

I’m not sharing this because I’ve fixed it. I’m not on the other side of this pattern yet.

I’m sharing it because I did the exact thing I tell you not to do — and I think you need to see what it actually costs, not just hear me talk about nervous system regulation from a place of having figured it out.

The rest you won’t choose, your body will eventually take.

That’s not a threat. That’s just how a nervous system works when it’s been running on empty long enough.

If you’ve ever pushed through something your body was asking you to stop for — you already know what I mean.
