Had a good experience at Grillade Amira Lasalle good, but not great. The food was excellent and definitely the highlight of the visit. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and I truly enjoyed the meal.

However, the restaurant itself was very cold, which affected the overall comfort. Also, the lighting could be improved to make the atmosphere more welcoming.

Despite these small issues, I’m still giving 5 stars because the food deserves it, and I hope this encourages them to fix these minor problems. With a few improvements, this place can be outstanding.

Because of my health issues, I had stopped eating outside for quite some time. But whenever I finally feel like having food from a restaurant again, the very first place that comes to my mind is Uddin’s Misti in Châteauguay. That alone says a lot.

Today, I tried their Biye Barir Chicken Roast & Pulao, and it instantly reminded me why this place holds such a special spot for me.

Chicken Roast is a signature dish in every Bengali household during Eid or any party. It is also famously known as “Biye Barir Chicken Roast”, which literally means chicken roast served at weddings. This dish is the most sought-after item at Bangladeshi weddings so much so that some families even hire specialized chefs whose only responsibility is to perfect this one dish during the festivities.

Bangladeshi Chicken Roast is a beautiful amalgamation of two culinary traditions: royal Mughal cuisine and indigenous Bengali flavors. Mughal cuisine brings rich, Persio-Turkic influences with generous use of aromatic dry spices, while Bengali cooking adds its own depth, balance, and warmth. When done right, the result is nothing short of extraordinary.

Uddin’s Misti absolutely does it right. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and deeply infused with spices without being overpowering. The pulao complemented the roast perfectly, making the entire meal feel comforting, festive, and authentic just like food from home.

If you’re craving true Bangladeshi flavors, especially dishes that carry cultural and emotional significance, Uddin’s Misti is a place you can trust every time.

Fuchka – This is exactly how I want my Bangladeshi fuchka! Crispy golden puris that shatter at the bite, stuffed with a tangy-spicy potato & chickpea mix, then dunked in that addictive sweet-and-sour tamarind water. A flavor explosion you can’t stop at just one! 🤤

Muglai Paratha – Golden, flaky, pan-fried perfection. The outer crisp gives way to a soft, rich filling of beaten eggs, seasoned just right. Comfort food, elevated. 🥚✨

Haleem – Slow-cooked for hours, this haleem is thick, hearty, and full of flavor. The chunky texture with tender pieces of beef makes every spoonful deeply satisfying. Spiced just enough to warm your soul. 🍲🔥

Delicious boneless chicken! Chicken Plus PSC is my go-to spot for crispy, juicy boneless fried chicken packed with flavor. Their sauces especially garlic soy and spicy are amazing. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and service is always friendly. If you love Korean-style boneless chicken, this place is a must-try!
