1038 5 Ave NW, or as we fondly refer to it, “The Mansion”, is located 1 1/2
blocks from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, in the much sought after district known as the “Avenues”. The Mansion was constructed in 1906 for a CPR executive and was a single
family home until 1936. The house in its more than 100 year history has been
home to war hero's, numerous families, and even a motorcycle gang in the
early

sixties. The top
2 floors were converted to shared school accommodations and modernized
extensively.

• Each lockable room comes with a bed, desk, chair, bar fridge, internet
(wireless or hardwired) and cable.
• All utilities are included, as well as a weekly cleaning service for all common
areas.
• Kitchen is equipped with lockable cupboards assigned to each room, with
color-coded dishes, and utensils.
• Off street parking is supplied, but limited on a first come basis.
• Rear yard is supplied with a BBQ and picnic table for students’ use.
• Separate laundry facilities on the 3rd floor for students.
• Common TV area is supplied with cable and Netflix
• The cleaner will tend to floors, bathrooms and in common areas only, once
per week

The top 2 floors were converted to shared school accommodations and modernized extensively.

  • Assigned cupboards, with colour-coded dishes in the shared kitchen, shared freezer, shared cookware and utensils, shared main refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave
