It’s the first day of autumn and it couldn’t be more beautiful! 🍂 While we don’t have anything pumpkin spice on the menu, Mondays are all about comfort food! Our grilled cheese & tomato soup combo is just $8.50. Perfect for warming up before (or after) tackling that big pile of leaves. 🍞🧀🍅

✨ Hello Chicken Chef friends — time for a re-introduction! ✨

For those who are new here, my name’s Chris Krushel, and I’ve proudly owned Chicken Chef-Morden since 2012, carrying on the family tradition after working alongside my stepfather Terry since 1992. All told, I’ve put over 30 years of heart and soul into this location. ❤️

Restaurant life is famously fast-paced (and yes, sometimes stressful), but I love the challenge — and nothing’s more rewarding than seeing families who’ve been coming here for almost 4 decades, now bringing in their kids…grandkids and even their great grandchildren! That multi-generational connection is what makes this place so special.

Outside the kitchen, my wife Lili and I also run a popular local wedding venue-Bella's Castle. However we couldn’t do it without our incredible staff and management team who keep everything running seamlessly here while we juggle our busy day-to-day lives and weekend weddings. 🏰

When I’m not working, you might spot me cruising in one of my classics — the ’51 Chevy or ’69 Mustang — or on my Triumph motorcycle, chasing sun sets. 🚘🏍️

And when it comes to family time, Lili makes sure our adventures never stop. As a part-time travel agent, she’s always planning the next trip: in the past two years we’ve been to Japan twice, and always find time for a winter beach escape to help relax, unwind and recharge. 🌊🌸

The entrepreneurial spirit lives on with our kids Mia & Daniel, who launched Kawaii Kitty Toys — a 3D-printed toy business that’s been a hit at both Jurassic Clubhouse & Mybobalab. 🐾✨

Thanks for being part of our journey — whether you’ve been with us for decades or just joined the family, we’re so glad you’re here, in the place “where it always feels like home”. 🏠

Today we’re celebrating Annie’s 9-year work anniversary! Our amazing Assistant Manager wears more hats than we can count—whether she’s serving in the dining room, cooking in the kitchen, or helping behind the counter, Annie does it all with a smile.

When she’s not helping to run the show here, you’ll find her gaming with her partner Seth (yes, another Chicken Chef love story 💕) or spoiling their fur babies Tae, Jimin and Nermal. 🐈
