Another great day on the dance floor last night. But before we jump that far ahead, let's start at the beginning of this day.

I did not work the Ceremony today, so it was a setup at the venue for the Reception and have Cocktail music playing when guests started to arrive.

My day with Gwendolyn and Adam began once it was time to set up the Grand Entrance. Everyone got lined up, I brought them in to great applause and they went straight into their First Dance of the evening, which today featured Terra Lightfoot's Pinball King, which worked out perfectly!

From there I introduced their MC and away we went with the evening and the dinner, which tonight was Indian Buffet. Very tasty and different from many of the Weddings I work all year.

After dinner the speeches began and not long after their conclusion, we opened the dance floor and it took off rather well right off the hop! Dancing was quite good all evening and went to the desired cutoff of 10:30pm (we started dancing early as well, so the timing worked out like every other Wedding). It was a fun group to work with and because dancing was steady throughout, it made it easy to keep things going.

Thank You Gwendolyn and Adam for using my services for your special day. It was fun working with you guys through the process right up to the big day. Wishing you guys all the best moving forward through your lives together. Thanks again!!

After a week off, back at it today at the Kemptville Municipal Centre for Gwendolyn and Adam's Wedding Reception. Sounds like its going to be a fun one, so I'm anxious to get it going!

Another great Wedding in the books!

Saturday was a cool day, but with the Ceremony outside we were hoping for some sunshine and did get that, so it was a bit warmer there than expected. Candice and Alex came down the aisle and had a fun Ceremony and were officially Married and went dancing back up the aisle quite happy with everything!

It was cocktail time inside the venue, The Great Hall at Fort Henry, where everyone mingled, found their tables, had a bit of food, enjoyed the Photo Booth.

The Grand Entrance was next and was fun as the entire Bridal Party was introduced into the room. Their MC took over from that point until it was time for Dancing. During that period, we had a wonderful buffet dinner, and some fun speeches before The First Dance, which tonight featured Powerful from Major Lazer feat. Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley. Then the parent dances were up before taking a group photo on the Dance Floor and then opening up the Dance Floor to everyone. Had a very strong start to dancing before it tapered off slightly but held fairly strong for most of the rest of the night. We kept everything going right until the 1am cutoff time with everyone going home happy and partied out! A fun night for sure.

Thank You to Candice and Alex for using my services for your Wedding. Hoping everything was what you wanted and you enjoyed your special day! Maybe we will see each other again somewhere on a Dance Floor! All The Best!

Who would have thought that a Saturday in mid October, in a tent, would be a great day weather wise? Well this past Saturday in Godfrey, in a tent, was a great day for Andrea and Tyler. They truly lucked out with the weather, and it made the day all that much better.

We began the day with their Ceremony on the property, in the open air, in the sunshine and it was great! Once they were Official, they headed back up the aisle, and the party began!

Was a great crowd, quite receptive and that was a good sign for the rest of the night for the dance floor.

Dinner was next, but not before introducing the Bridal Party and the new couple into the room. Once everyone was in, we began the buffet, which was put on by a family friend and was delicious! Speeches followed the buffet and then we went into the First Dance, which tonight featured Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's It's Your Love. Parent Dances followed and the dance floor busted open!

Dancing was very good most of the night, with the usual tapering off as the night went on. But it was always fun on the floor throughout the night. We shut it all down at the scheduled 1am time and all was good!

Thank You Andrea and Tyler for using my services for your day. Hoping that I helped make your day a great one for you guys and that everyone had a great time as well. Maybe I will see you guys again on a dance floor somewhere. Wishing you guys and your little family all the best moving forward!

2 Weddings this week, the first of which happened yesterday at Stonefields Estate.

Sara and Christopher began their day with a beaugeul Ceremony in the Chapel. April from All My Tomorrows did a great job tracing the couple's steps towards the alter from their First Date onward to today. They said the all important words and were back up the aisle towards the rest of the day!

Photos and Cocktails were next and once all of the photos were completed, we arranged and had a fun Grand Entrance with the Bridal Party and the Parents.

Dinner and speeches followed over the next couple of hours which then led to the Cake Cutting and a fun round of The Shoe Game before Sara and Christopher took to the Dance Floor for their First Dance, which tonight featured Alex Warren's Ordinary (The Wedding Version). The Parent Dances followed and then we opened the Dance Floor to everyone.

Dancing tonight was based around a core group of people for the most part. At times more people came out, but for the most part it was a core group that kept things going through the night. We went right through to the closing time of Midnight and had alot of fun!

Thanks to Sara and Christopher for reaching out to me for the Wedding. It had been almost 10 years since the last Wedding I worked for Christopher's Sister and I never expect to hear from someone again after so long, so when the message came through asking if I would do this Wedding, it was a no brainer for me to say YES! So Thank You again for making the request. Wishing the two of you all the best going forward through life together. It was fantastic working with you guys and getting to see Christopher's Family again.
