Last Saturday I worked another fun Christmas Party for Alexandria Moulding. It was a bit of a slow start to the dance floor, but it got busy after a bit and we went the rest of the night. Thanks again guys and maybe we will see you again next year!

Well the weather played into today's Wedding if only by stopping the idea of an outdoor Ceremony in what is a nice Ceremony spot. Mother Nature had her way and dumped a pile of rain and freezing rain over the area. But that did not dampen the spirits for the day!

We began with the Ceremony inside of the Nawapon Room at Algonquin College instead of outside in the courtyard adjacent to the room. Celine and Adam said their I Do's and headed back up the aisle to applause and then headed off to get their photos done. During that period we had the usual Cocktail period until the couple was ready to be introduced and we began dinner. Dinner was a Buffet this evening and was delicious, and so were the Desserts that followed. Between the Buffet and the Desserts we ran through a bunch of great speeches. After the Dessert we had a round of The Shoe Game, hosted by their Best Man, which was fun. The Bride and Groom did their Thank You's right after that before we headed to the Dance Floor for the First Dance, which tonight was Ed Sheeran's Perfect. Parent Dances followed and then we opened the Dance Floor to everyone. Dancing was steady for the most part, especially through the first half of the evening before tapering off slowly towards the end of the night. The evening was scheduled to end at Midnight, but shut down at 11:45pm. I believe several guests headed out with the bad weather outside becoming a bit of a factor. All in all though everyone appeared to have alot of fun and that was great.

Thank You again Celine and Adam for using my services. It was a pleasure working with you guys towards the day you had yesterday. Hoping it all turned out as you hoped it would. Maybe we will see you guys again on another dance floor in the future. Best wishes to the two of you on a long and happy life together!

Been a busy day... the Ceremony is done and the dinner is going well,but not yet completed. Celine and Adam are Married and enjoying the day so far! Looking forward to the rest of the night!

Getting ready to head out to my last Wedding for this year.

Celine and Adam make it official today and it should be a fun one again. Looking forward to it all! Algonquin College is the place and it will all go down soon...

Another great day on the dance floor last night. But before we jump that far ahead, let's start at the beginning of this day.

I did not work the Ceremony today, so it was a setup at the venue for the Reception and have Cocktail music playing when guests started to arrive.

My day with Gwendolyn and Adam began once it was time to set up the Grand Entrance. Everyone got lined up, I brought them in to great applause and they went straight into their First Dance of the evening, which today featured Terra Lightfoot's Pinball King, which worked out perfectly!

From there I introduced their MC and away we went with the evening and the dinner, which tonight was Indian Buffet. Very tasty and different from many of the Weddings I work all year.

After dinner the speeches began and not long after their conclusion, we opened the dance floor and it took off rather well right off the hop! Dancing was quite good all evening and went to the desired cutoff of 10:30pm (we started dancing early as well, so the timing worked out like every other Wedding). It was a fun group to work with and because dancing was steady throughout, it made it easy to keep things going.

Thank You Gwendolyn and Adam for using my services for your special day. It was fun working with you guys through the process right up to the big day. Wishing you guys all the best moving forward through your lives together. Thanks again!!
