We have an update on Brian Doerksen for those who have been praying for him this week. His family shared Friday evening that Brian has received a Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

​In times of difficult news, the strength and unity of the Body of Christ truly shine. Let’s keep lifting Brian, Joyce, their family, and his healthcare team in prayer. 🙏

To our Lighthouse FM listening family,

​We want to invite you to join us in a moment of focused, heartfelt prayer today for a dear friend of our station and a voice who has ministered to so many of us, Canadian Christian artist Brian Doerksen.

​Brian is currently in the hospital facing some very serious health challenges. His family recently shared that scans have revealed a mass in his pelvis, as well as spots on his liver, lungs, and near his heart. Today, he is undergoing a colonoscopy and biopsies, with results expected in the next 3 to 5 days.

​While our hearts are heavy with this news, we are also standing firm in hope. In times like these, we lean closely on the very words and truths that Brian has sung into our lives and homes for so many years:

​"From our genesis to that final breath
You’re redeeming all our trials and sorrows
Every tear that falls you collect them all
Then you heal us with your love and mercy."

​Lift Him in Prayer: Please pray for peace that passes understanding for Brian and his family, wisdom and guidance for the medical team caring for him, and for physical healing.
