BE ADVISED: MARINE ATLANTIC CROSSINGS ARE BEING CANCELLED ⚠️ 🚢

Due to ongoing severe weather and marine conditions, Marine Atlantic has cancelled all crossings between North Sydney and Port aux Basques through at least tomorrow night.

❌ Cancelled sailings include:
• Sunday night departures
• All scheduled sailings Monday
• Late Monday night crossings

Further cancellations or delays remain possible depending on how conditions evolve.

⚠️ Travellers are advised to:
• Check Marine Atlantic directly before heading to the terminal
• Avoid unnecessary travel to ports
• Expect continued disruptions into Tuesday

This is being driven by dangerous winds, high seas, and storm-force conditions associated with the powerful system impacting Atlantic Canada.

🚨 TRAFFIC ADVISORY 🚨: RCMP Newfoundland and Labrador is warning drivers about extremely poor road conditions on Witless Bay Line (Route 13) and the surrounding areas.

Stay off the roads, if possible. If you must travel, please exercise extreme caution and drive according to road and weather conditions.
