As kids we used to ride on the a roof of our car on the dirt road to our cottage😮We all knew to hold on and my Dad would drive slow. It was a huge thrill, a little dangerous and so much fun.
Putting Winnie in the basket, I had to explain to her about safety and she’s very attentive. I pedal incredibly slow. For her the thrill is like being on a roller coaster. When shows up we had to show off.

Happy Valentine’s Day to my two Rockstars.
It might not have been exactly three years ago - but it must have been close - Winnie was a mystery - and Monnie was a rockstar.

They are everywhere here in - And for their size (like a small to medium sized dog) they make the most incredible sound.
Winnie and I have gone on multiple jungle safaris looking for the family that lives around our vacation house.
Hard to get a clear shot but these are the best we’ve gotten so far.

Bonus for anyone here who knows the Costa Rican name for these noisy beasts. @ Playa Guiones
