Flashback to 1992 — Jason Cundal, Doug Banas, and I somehow ended up sneaking into Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on a mission to find a singer for our new band.

That’s when we met Brent Anhel. We told him, “GET IN THE CAR!” — and not long after, we recorded a song by that very name.

New Music Release – “Hibernation Sickness”

Some songs come from a real place. “Hibernation Sickness” was recorded live off the floor back in 2001 — when a few close friends just plugged in and played.

The song captures that gray feeling of winter — the sluggishness, the longing to be somewhere warmer, the “Hibernation Sickness” that creeps in when the days get short and the light fades.

This one’s especially meaningful because our guitarist, Doug Banas, whose tasteful playing and solo gave the track its heart, has since passed on. His spirit lives on through the music — and I hope listeners can feel that spark too.
It’s raw. It’s imperfect. But it’s real — and it’s a piece of time we’ll never get back.

If you enjoy it, stay and explore the rest of the songs — they all came from the same session, released as part of this final Jammin At LumpyLand Sessions.

Glass on the floor. Screams behind locked doors.
He crawled through the window and ran straight into the city’s dark heartbeat.

The walking dead, chasing a light that never shines through the crack.
Arms tracked, soul cracked — sometimes you live to regret it.

Wanted more, got a slammed door.
Now he just laughs and whispers…
“I bet you don’t know what lives in your pillow.”

32 Years in the Vault… Now It’s Time to LET IT OUT

Back in 1993, three friends and I hit the Edmonton, Alberta music scene with our own blend of alternative, funky 90s-rock testosterone.
What came out was an 8-song cassette packed with heavy grooves and raw energy.
We played shows, made noise…and then life moved on.
For three decades the tapes sat silent—until now.

The first track, “GIVE,” is finally breaking free—
streaming everywhere September 26 2025 everywhere for the first time ever.

“I’m solid bronze, immovable statue… love is broad, so give & I’ll match you.”

That’s just a taste of the sound and spirit we captured back then.
And this is only the beginning: the rest of the album will drop track by track in the weeks ahead.

What was once a hidden cassette is about to become a new release in the digital era.
Plug in. Turn it up. Feel our 90s roar.
