New Music Release – “Hibernation Sickness”
Some songs come from a real place. “Hibernation Sickness” was recorded live off the floor back in 2001 — when a few close friends just plugged in and played.
The song captures that gray feeling of winter — the sluggishness, the longing to be somewhere warmer, the “Hibernation Sickness” that creeps in when the days get short and the light fades.
This one’s especially meaningful because our guitarist, Doug Banas, whose tasteful playing and solo gave the track its heart, has since passed on. His spirit lives on through the music — and I hope listeners can feel that spark too.
It’s raw. It’s imperfect. But it’s real — and it’s a piece of time we’ll never get back.

If you enjoy it, stay and explore the rest of the songs — they all came from the same session, released as part of this final Jammin At LumpyLand Sessions.
