The beauty industry is one of the most saturated niches, so how do you stand out?

Fun, organic content that uses quick cuts that actually feel realistic. There are so many over produced videos that the regular consumer doesn’t relate to. That’s why I went for something not only fun, but that felt tangible. Shots that make the every day person go “hey, that’s me!” No perfect lighting, or macro shots that feel way too strategic.

This one was a wild card and honestly one of my favourites!! I have clients reference the hotdog video often and I chuckle every time.

I scripted, filmed, and edited this concept and yes I dressed up as a hotdog and walked around town. Being bold, unexpected, and slightly unhinged is a great way to hold retention, especially in the tech space. 📲

UGC for the tech, app and finance space is a little different than other niches. Not having a physical product means we need to think outside the box.

This project was through .agency where they handled all the scripting and editing, all I had to do was shoot and deliver raw footage.

I love how this narrator trend came out!

Beauty is all about the close up, 2x shots. The beauty niche is also one of the biggest, most competitive niches on social media! Keeping quick jump shots ever few sections, mixed with broll and talking to camera help with a dynamic mix that hold retention.

Crafting may be my favourite niche 🧶

Yeah, the process takes longer but it’s so fun and peaceful!! I grew up loving to paint, play with clay, draw the sunset and I have even taken a swing at pyrography.

Still to this day, art is my play. The fact that I can incorporate it with my work is amazing to me!
