I LOVE MY HOMETOWN 🍁

I had the joy of being home this summer as I dealt with some visa things for the future and at first I thought it would be a drag, I never liked coming home much. However this summer was one full of joy like I never expected!

Coming off a difficult season this was everything I needed and more. I’m so grateful for everyone I spent time with, for my church for welcoming me in with open arms to be a part of what God is doing in Nanaimo, and for so many other surprising moments 👀 This is for sure the most sad I’ve been to leave home and while I’m so excited for what’s next it’s definitely bittersweet.

What I am over the moon stoked for however is what I get to do in this next season! Super exciting update will be coming soon, but all I have to say for now is that Gods heart burns for Canada and I can’t wait to join Him in labouring for a move of God to sweep my nation 🇨🇦🫡

Thanks to everyone who was a part of this summer, I love you all 🫶🏼

To trust God is to know peace.

The birds of the sky do not see the wind, yet they trust it will catch them,
Day by day they fall from heights that would end in their decay,
Every instinct must scream at them to stay, play it safe, not to risk,
But if they never fell they’re never fly,
It is by faith, faith in the unseen, that the birds of the sky fly so high,
And it is by faith, faith in the Holy Spirit and its movings, that the Christian must live,
For both the bird and the Christian it takes faith to accomplish all things,
If the bird never jumps it will never fly,
If the Christian never takes risk, they will never see God move,
Like the wind you cannot see the Holy Spirit, but with experience you can sense His moving,
As you step out and learn friendship with Him, you will feel and know His comings and goings,
Like how the bird knows the wind, may the Christian know the Holy Spirit.

There are too many Christians that have never left the “nest” of unbelief. If they would take the step of faith, jump from safety, The Holy Spirit would catch and carry them. To see a move of God today, we must trust the Holy Spirit as the bird trusts the wind!
