Next weekend you can find us setup at the oldest Fish & Game club in Canada. The roots of the organization date back to 1905, when local outdoorsmen banded together to oppose a provincial plan to sell all hunting rights on Vancouver Island to American interests.
Join us June 13 & 14 to see what KUIU is all about.
These small events offer a rare personal experience to view, touch, and try on all of KUlU’s products in an intimate atmosphere where you can ask questions and get advice from qualified people who use the gear in the field. Qualified staff will be on hand to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Plus, take advantage of show specials.

The Double Header Dance Last Night! 🎣🎣🕺

Hooked into 2 salmon yesterday evening and it was instant boat chaos! Dodging, stepping, and maneuvering around each other with rods crossing and lines singing. Total dance party and so much fun!

Epic evening on the water off Nanaimo! 🎣

We headed out chasing Coho, but the Chinook had other plans and showed up in force.

Ended up bringing 12 beautiful Chinooks to the boat and every single one safely released to swim another day.

🎣 Coho Opener is almost here!

The inside waters around Vancouver Island are about to light up again, and I couldn’t be more pumped! There’s something special about that first trip of the season, the salt air, the early morning glassy water, and the scream of the reel when a fresh Coho grabs the jig.

I’m stoked to get back out on the water with my friends and family. Nothing beats sharing those moments together! The laughs, the stories, the high-fives when the net comes up. In my opinion, chasing Coho on the inside is one of the most fun fisheries you can have on the water. Period.

We’re so blessed to have this beautiful backyard fishery right here on Vancouver Island. Let’s cherish it, respect it, and keep it healthy for generations to come.

The NEW Alterra Mountain Shadow Carbon in 6.5 PRC dialed in and I’m seriously impressed. 🔥

Factory ammo is printing consistent ½” and ¾” groups that’s exactly what I was hoping for out of a lightweight mountain rifle. Today everything clicked: the setup, the optics, the feel… she’s ready.

Next stop? The backcountry. Time to put some real distance on this setup and see what she can do on the mountain.
