For the past year we have had the privilege to be invited into the life, and family of Robin Louie, who is from the Yaqan Nuʔkiy community that is part of the Ktunaxa Nation. In the past year we have learned so much about the true history of the Kootenays, this beautiful place we call home.

To see the dedication and heartfelt want to see change for his people and community is inspiring. Robin's passion to teach others about his culture and history is unmatched to anyone we have ever met.

We hope this short video of what we have filmed so far is just the beginning. Robin's story and the story of his people and community needs to be told. We can't wait to go on another adventure with Robin, his family and his community.

We kind of gambled a little bit with Indigo Bowick edit waiting to the end of the season to film. But it paid off, and we got beautiful blue bird days up at the hill and Ymir Peak. 🎥🤟

Today, we had an amazing conversation with such an inspirational young woman. We have known Nancy Ttio Cjuro for more than 6 years now, and her strength and resilience amaze us the more we get to know her. We were lucky enough to have been able to film a little bit of her story and how she is growing her organic chocolate company in the high jungles of Peru. We are trying to build a small community of women here in Canada in hopes of coming together to try and figure out how we can help this amazing Peruvian woman get her chocolate company to that next level. Along the way, we are going to be filming Nancy's inspirational story and watch how she grows her business through our lens. We're so excited that Indigo Bowick is going to be coming on board to help us build this community here in Canada but also help us tell Nancy's story.
We'll be releasing a trailer from our time with Nancy soon, and we can't wait for everyone to see the strength and hard work of this incredible Peruvian woman.

We couldn't think of a better video to showcase our new logo than this one. We were so lucky to be able to get the very talented Carah Hager to create something that spoke to us and our audience.

When we traveled to Peru in October in hope's of creating a short documentary on our very good friends Cody and Danitza we never planned on opening up such a big can of creativity and never ending story lines. But lucky enough that's what happened. Everyone worked so hard to get the shots we needed everyday, from the planning to the ex*****on we couldn't have asked for anything else.

This short trailer is a small example of what Cody and Danitza do on a daily basis for the country of Peru and its people. With this trailer we are hoping to get some further interest for a bigger budget and the ability to really dive deep into the amazing work Cody and Danitza are doing in Peru with a full length documentary.

These last 4 months filming and creating this video has been nothing short of amazing for all of us here at Film Our Path Media. We put everything we had into this and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it!! 🎥🇵🇪

These last 6 weeks of filming two amazing stories has been nothing short of a team effort. From getting started off on the right path with Sam Baio and the Valhalla Pure Nelson family supporting us in all our gear, to one of our very good friends Christopher Brach coming down to lend us a much needed hand anywhere we needed him. And the amazing family support from the two rock stars Greta Nohely Quispe Gutierrez and Maria. And lastly the two most amazing humans in Cody de Witt and Danitza Del Alamo without them we couldn't have done anything. From planning each and every last detail to putting in long 14 hour days they were always there with no complaints. We can't wait to get back to the office and start going through the hours of footage we were able to get and slowly start building these stories out for everyone to see!!
