Player Spotlight on prospect Orrin Centazzo. O had a huge season with the Blazers this year and will be hoping to hear this name called at the draft.

O is the prototypical modern player. Smart, creative with puck and able to make plays off the rush.

This came from and I think it explains with paradox quite clearly. Players, parents, coaches etc are all sacrificing for a greater goal. And in some cases the bigger the goal the easier the sacrifice of minor things. Dream big.

Watched this episode last night. This part at the end gave me goosebumps. This is what it's all about. A true winners mentality.

If I was the NHL or TSN I would be making this type of documentary for a Gretzky or a Howe or whoever asap.

If the puck is on your stick, make sure you're moving.

Whether its a dman who gathers the puck in the corner or a forward once they cross the offensive blueline. As soon as they get the puck and some space they slow down. Start looking at options.

There is nothing wrong with that but it isn't elite either. When you get the puck, GO. Make those same decisions at full speed. Put pressure on the defense.

There is a time and a place to slow things down. Don't be afraid to speed things up as well.
