• Genre and Sound: A newly formed band that plays punk or Oi!/hardcore music. A recent show at
Camp Cataract
described them as "the kids!!".
• Music and Performances:
• A track titled "Guerrilla Warfare" was released on Spotify.
• They played their debut show in Niagara Falls on April 4, 2025.
• They performed as part of the "annual summer kickoff show" at
Camp Cataract
on June 7, 2025.
• Another Niagara Falls show was promoted for April 2025 alongside the hardcore band Conservative Military Image.

Trunk was an influential punk band from Burlington, Ontario, known for their active local scene presence in the 1990s and early 2000s, who toured with bands like MXPX and Rancid. The band's final lineup included vocalist Doug Grozelle, bassist Jerry Filice, drummer Tyler Sumak, and guitarists Mike Fontaine and Brad Casarin. While the original band is no longer active, a new lineup, called Trunk Revival, has been formed to play the old hits.

Original band:

Trunk was an active band in the 1990s and early 2000s, touring with bands such as MXPX, Rancid, and Gob. They had three videos on MuchMusic and were featured in a 1998 CBC movie.

Members:

The final lineup of the original band consisted of Doug Grozelle (vocals), Jerry Filice (bass), Tyler Sumak (drums), Mike Fontaine (guitar), and Brad Casarin (guitar).

Recent activity:

The band reunited for one show in 2009. A new lineup, Trunk Revival, has since formed to play the original songs. 2025 Hamilton Carlton tavern 7pm
