This isn’t something we do all the time, but seeing the branding and photography come together in print like this is something special.

This catalog for Telson Optics was the final piece in a full brand build. The look, the photos, the voice; all working together to help them break into the premium outdoor space.

We’ve spent the last few years filming on dairy farms across Manitoba — early mornings, long drives, muddy boots, and lots of memorable moments.

Going through all our behind-the-scenes photos from the campaign it’s so hard to chose which ones to share - here are a couple that we thought highlighted the experience.

Our personal favourite: David and the kittens. Just one of those quiet, slightly humorous little moments that reminds us why we love doing this work.

After sharing the finished All from a Good Place anthem spot, we wanted to give a peek behind the scenes at what went into it.

Over the past three years, our team at Mast Creative has filmed across dozens of Manitoba dairy farms — capturing real people, real stories, and real moments. Early mornings, muddy boots, long drives… and lots of coffee.

We’ve loved getting to know so many amazing dairy farmers along the way, and it’s been a pleasure working with Dairy Farmers of Manitoba and the talented folks at Humanity Agency to bring this campaign to life.

Grateful to have played a small part in celebrating this place and the people who make it special.

A story three years in the making.

We recently wrapped the most recent 60-second anthem commercial for Dairy Farmers of Manitoba — part of their ongoing All from a good place campaign.

The idea behind it was simple: tell a meaningful story using real footage we’ve collected over the past three years — dozens of farms, honest moments, and familiar places. We recorded a new voiceover with a Manitoba dairy farmer and combined it with footage we’ve captured on location for previous projects.

The result is a grounded, authentic tribute to the people and places that make this province what it is.

Some of our favourite frames 🎥 from the three spots we produced with for Manitoba Liquor + Lotteries.

Authentic and entertaining, these fun and light-hearted commercials tap into common gambling myths and habits to remind casino-goers that gambling logic isn’t logical inside or outside of a casino and the only thing you can really control is how you play.

created a concept that playfully unpacks the myths and logic behind gambling habits—infusing it with humour, local nuances, and some familiar Manitoba faces.

Starring local comedian , the second entry in this series highlights a gambler’s ‘fool proof’ method to ordering a delicious meal at any restaurant… all by using the lucky number seven, of course. 😉

BTS from ‘Slushee’ 🥤

This one was a blast to shoot — but also the third production day in a row, and we filmed overnight from 10:30pm to 4:30am in a working convenience store. By morning, the whole crew was running on fumes (and maybe a bit of slushee sugar).

For this spot, we created a fictional slurpee brand complete with custom flavours, designed logos for each one, printed decals, and even brought in a big TV to act as a digital menu.

We rigged up lighting inside the slurpee machines too — behind the labels and under the drains. To keep the lights from getting fried by frozen sugar juice, we wrapped them in plastic bags… which worked. Kind of. Let’s just say they were VERY sticky by the end.

This project is a bit different from what we usually do, but it’s one of the most important stories we’ve had the opportunity to tell.

A close friend of ours, Daniel, lost his mother due to failures in the healthcare system—an avoidable tragedy that should never have happened. If Daniel and his family had known she wouldn’t receive life-saving surgery in time, they would have explored other options. But they didn’t get that chance.

This was preventable and sadly, it happens far too often.
