Just before we left for March Break, we were gifted this massive banner from Ferris Glen. Chi-miigwech for the kind congratulations on Nbisiing being named Kiss 100.5’s Best School in North Bay!

From everything we’ve heard, it sounds like Ferris Glen is doing incredible things for students and offering the same kind of positive vibes and strong supports we value so much at Nbisiing. It’s always great to see schools lifting each other up. 💛

🎡When an activity feels playful, something shifts.
Students start helping each other.
They talk things through.
They try.

That’s why I use gamified templates.

Not because everything needs bells and whistles, but because play creates just enough safety for kids to lean in. Engagement starts to look like cooperation, collaboration, and creativity, not compliance.

To me, designing in Canva feels more like wandering a fun midway than grinding through paperwork. I finish the resource. I enjoy the process. I’m eager to check out their bank of AI features.

That’s the energy I want in classrooms and in the work teachers do behind the scenes.
