Just acquired a Yamaha MD8 multitrack minidisc recorder, so I can now convert Stereo, 4 Track and 8 Track minidisc to another format.

Got to play in the studio today: notice the DX7II used as a midi controller for Reason which in turn sends the midi data to the JD990: audio from the JD990 is routed back through the interface to record the midi as audio, so this way anyone can send me their midi files of tracks and I can turn them into audio stems of any of the analog/digital synths I have kicking around eg Juno 106, JX8P, DX7II, M1 etc. PM me for entire list of gear.

Recently added a new Asus ROG laptop to aid with production: it's only 5 generations newer than the old HP core i7 and has a solid state main drive on the PCi bus: boots up in 8 seconds flat from cold start! Let the fun begin!

Just acquired yet another old Roland jem: JX10 Super JX and I have installed the Vecoven firmware update so it will actually speak MIDI properly. Needs a little love for one key not firing and the aftertouch totally not functioning, but that is just a matter of time to take it apart.

Just recently acquired 2 VHS Sony machines. Both work, but one plays MUCH cleaner than the other, which leads me into the next phase of the studio: VHS and similar format conversion to digital!
