🥋 TOURNAMENT IS PART OF TRAINING.

Over the summer, our team trained hard, pushed through challenges, and prepared for this tournament.

Some achieved great results.
Some didn’t get the results they hoped for.

But every athlete gained valuable experience.

When the result is good, people call it SUCCESS.
When the result is not what we wanted, people may call it FAILURE.

But we don’t believe in failure.

A tournament is not just about winning medals.
It is about discovering where we are, learning from every experience, and finding what we need to improve.

Every match teaches us something.
Every mistake shows us what to fix.
Every challenge makes us stronger.

A result is only a moment.
Progress is a journey.

Today’s experience becomes tomorrow’s improvement.
And tomorrow’s improvement brings us one step closer to success —
toward that one important day of glory. 🏆

So we go back to training.

We work hard.
Again and again.
We learn.
We improve.
We get stronger.

I am incredibly proud of every athlete who stepped onto the court and bravely gave their best at last Saturday’s tournament.

Now, we set our sights on our next goal:

What an incredible day of Team Training at Woodbine Beach! ☀️💪

We trained super hard, supported and took care of each other, and most importantly, we had SO MUCH FUN together! 😁🔥

A huge thank you to all the parents and athletes who came out today to train, participate, and support our team. Your energy and support made today even more special! 🙏❤️

It was such a fun experience, and we’ll definitely do it again next summer! ☀️🌊🥋

August 22 Color Belt Testing!

I am so proud of all my students!❤️
Throughout this summer, everyone worked hard, stayed committed, and prepared themselves for testing. I’ve seen so much discipline, dedication, passion, and growth from each and every one of you.

Taekwondo is more than just a sport or an activity. It is a martial art that teaches us respect, discipline, confidence, perseverance, and how to become stronger both physically and mentally.

There is something truly special about Taekwondo, and I hope that one day all of my students will understand and feel the deeper meaning behind this martial art.

Keep training. Keep improving. Keep challenging yourself.

And most importantly, always strive to become the best version of yourself.

그리고 귀한 자리를 마련해주신
서현석 관장님, 정향훈 관장님께 진심으로 감사드립니다. 🙏

평소 존경하던 분들과 함께 오랜만에 태권도에 대한 추억과 이야기를 나누며, 잠시 바쁜 일상에서 벗어나 저 자신을 돌아볼 수 있었던 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.

이야기를 나누는 동안
“나는 왜 태권도를 좋아했을까?”
그리고 “태권도는 앞으로 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 할까?”
다시 한번 생각해보게 되었습니다.

좋은 분들과 함께하며 귀한 경험과 생각을 나눌 수 있어 더욱 감사했습니다.

태권도를 처음 시작했던 그 마음을 잊지 않고,
앞으로도 더 좋은 태권도, 더 나은 미래를 만들어가기 위해 계속 배우고 노력하겠습니다. 🥋

A truly meaningful time with Professor Dong-Young Park and Professor Ji-Ho Chul, who traveled all the way from Korea to visit us. 🙏

I would also like to sincerely thank Master Hyun-Seok Seo and Master Hyang-Hoon Jung for bringing us together and creating this special opportunity.

It was an honor to sit down with people I have always respected and admired, share old memories, and talk about our journey in Taekwondo.

For a moment, I was able to step away from the busy routine of everyday life and reflect on two important questions:

“Why did I fall in love with Taekwondo in the first place?”
And “Where should Taekwondo go from here?”

Listening to your experiences and sharing thoughts about the future of Taekwondo was truly valuable and inspiring.

I will never forget the passion that first brought me to Taekwondo, and I will continue to learn, grow, and do my best to contribute to a better future for Taekwondo. 🥋
