Reminder, not only do we offer permaculture consultation and rainwater harvesting systems, we also have the ability to bring you a truck full of compost or mulch, or help out with your Fall garden plans or cleanup!

We are a bit different than conventional landscape companies in that we don't use noisy leaf blowers that throw dust and habitat around, we don't trim EVERYthing back as we like to leave some seed for the birds over the winter, and we love to advise and plant local perennials, edible plants, useful trees and drought resistant landscapes that give back to the Earth with biodiversity, water efficiency and beauty.

September happenings...planting, mulching, observing, harvesting, enjoying. Fall is a great time to get perennials and bulbs in the ground and reimagine what your 2026 garden will look like (mine is always in a state of change due to light availability). Love helping clients who "get it", choosing drought resistant plants, adding compost and mulch to protect and nourish soil, adapting to our changing climate. :)

It's a great time to get started with rainwater collection!
With the changing climate, we are expecting more precipitation to fall as rain, and it will come in shorter, faster bursts. You can take advantage of that by having us come and install some water collection for you! Your plants prefer rainwater and having some cisterns will also take some pressure off the regional stormwater system. Did you know that these are actually mandatory in Australia, and our arid region has a very similar climate?

Looks like some HEAT is coming! Good time to think about giving back to your soil once it's over, or protecting it now. Do you need a truckload (1 yard) of mulch or compost delivered in the next few weeks?
