Congratulations to the winner of the “Chaos & Conversation” Cover contest .music !!

We had a lot of fun going through the performances and took it very seriously finding a cover that stood out. Although there were several, we thought that Erin’s rendition of “Mason’s Garden” had an almost theatrical quality that helped bring the story into a different world of storytelling. We thank everyone who submitted and appreciate the time it took for you to learn these songs.

This contest was judged by two members of the New Americans and two unbiased external judges and we came to a unanimous decision!

Today I spent much of the afternoon in a strange little place that seemed decades away. I paid three dollars to see Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. I had never seen white Christmas before. It’s hovering around zero in Lethbridge Alberta and it’s starting to feel like that Prairie Christmas air is lurking underneath. Happy December 1st everyone.
