Letās be real, Iāve slacked the past few weeks⦠and thatās okay. Iāve done what I can, when I can.
Iron infusion day didnāt go as smoothly as usual. My arm started stabbing at the injection site, so everything had to be slowed down. Warm blankets, extra time, and even a saline bag after, which Iāve never needed before.
By the time I got home, I was completely wiped and slept for a few hours.
Then the Jays game, which had me out most of the day waiting in line early for a giveaway. I didnāt sit down until I was in my seat, and my feet are definitely feeling that today.
Yesterday? I crashed hard from it all.
So this is my kitchen table right now⦠the catch-all. Please tell me Iām not alone in this š
The good part is I can already feel the iron infusion helping. My energy is coming back and I actually want to tackle things I usually struggle with.
Being iron deficient anemic can really suck.
This isnāt the easiest thing to share, but Iām not going to sugar coat it. This is real life.
