Highlights from my 6th place Expert Class runs at 2026 Huffjam in the American BMX Flatland League. I made a lot of mistakes, but I still had a lot of fun. I only had three or four months of active riding practice this past year so I’m planning on practicing and progressing a lot more this year. I was very nervous leading up to it but then once I started riding I remembered that it’s all about having fun.😊 Thanks for all the support and love from friends.🩵 I can’t wait for next time!

Thanks to Mckenzie Stone Photography for taking these photos of me at American BMX Flatland League huffjambmx last weekend. It was a wonderful day full of love, friends, skill, and cummunity.🩵. I placed 6th in Expert class this year. I’m excited to keep working hard to progress my riding over the next year.

🔊👂Volume up for the beautiful sounds of flatland 🩵 Pressure is on as I have 3 days left to prepare for the Huffjam competition. I made the mistake of changing my rear tire yesterday to a much bigger fatter tire, which has changed the whole feel of the bike. Not only due back wheel tricks feel weird, but it even throws my balance off on front wheel tricks like steam rollers. So I rode hard today in the heat, dripping, wet as if I was swimming in a lake🥵. I’ve got three more days to get used to the new feel of that back tire. 😬 Music🎶: “The Less I know The Better.”

Here is the first school assembly I did my sophomore year. The cheers are hilarious to me, and I am guessing they are mostly from my fellow flute playing buddies in the school band,😊 and I especially loved when one of my buddies yelled “yeah Maurice!”(inside joke)🤣 I’m so glad I still have these videos as memories and hopefully posting it here well protect the memory for many years so I don’t lose it!

The second assembly I did during my junior year of High School in Utah in 2003. It was a talent show assembly so they had another kid performing his amazing drum skills at the same time. I unfortunately can’t recall his name so someone please tell me if you know who he is. I made lots of mistakes in this run, but still pulled some really difficult stuff that I’m proud of like the rubber ride, and decade (2nd try). Had to skip one part cause I wasted a lot of time messing up the upside down wheelie. That’s a lesson I’ve learned that helps me in competition is don’t waste too much time on a really difficult trick that I can’t land consistently. Instead, focus on easier tricks that I can land more consistently. Hopefully I can apply that suck-sessfully at Huffjam in a couple weeks! I first learned that lesson from this assembly when I realized I should have just moved on to something else. 😊
