Hello all, I have an update about my hours of operation as we approach this coming fall season. As many of you know Melanie and I are expecting a little boy this October and we couldn’t be more excited! To prepare for this exciting time I will be pausing my lessons as of September 4th until further notice. I have every intent to maintain a life full of instruction and guidance but will take this time to be present and available for my family. Thanks you for your amazing support and please feel welcome to ask me for anything and I will do my best to provide.! Daniel Bazinet!!

Pretty excited.!! I’ve just opened up my Monday nights to having lessons and it’s pretty much full! Only a 3:30-4:30 time is available!!

So excited to get back in my creative space teaching, learning, writing and sharing music!! This holiday has been very rewarding and has inspired some new music within me! Next week (Tuesday September 24th) I am back in action so get excited with me and let’s get musical!!

“On The Lawn”: Student Showcase is set for Saturday, August 24th!! 5-8pm!!

I’ll be creating an event page but wanted to get the word out and make sure all those who are working book it off now!

The best way to set yourself up for success in life is to have the right tools in working order.

Musical equipment is no different.! Having the right size, using correct posture, proper instrument placement, and good tuning are essentials that are often overlooked and can make practise disheartening.!

Let me know if you need maintenance on your gear to bring back the performance cheer!

These two boys have been here from the very beginning! What used to take months of learning and struggling now happens in mere minutes! The skills they’ve developed are incredible to watch as muscle memory takes over in the studio space! Couldn’t be more proud of their creativity and fun-natured-way about them! Before most lessons I like to warm up and get the studio into good vibes. Students show up and we catch up. I learn what has been making them tick; new music, new sports, new jobs, new citizenship!!!

Congrats to Duszan on becoming a fellow Canadian! Also learned he loves Green Day so this lesson was a Basket Case and Boulevard of Broken Dreams kinda Friday!!

This time next year I’ll have to encourage all my students to participate in Simcoe Rising Star!! So many talented youth to share an experience with!

Sign up for lessons now and give them a shot at the top 3!!!

I’m headed to the next round in June with my eyes firmly set on making it to the top 12 in September! That’ll be an amazingly talented event!
