This is my current home coffee setup. Consisting of a Lelit Bianca V3 and two Zerno Z1s. I’m thankful for this setup, it’s capable, versatile and beautiful.
Currently I’m using one Z1 v2 with SSP Cast for general filter brews on V60 and light roast espressos, and on the second Zerno Z1 v1 the SSP HU for textured traditional espressos for family and guests.
The Zerno is truly a fantastic grinder. One of my favourites to date. Of all the grinders I’ve used, the Zerno is easily one of my favourites for daily home use. Everything we loved about the Niche back in 2020 is mostly here in the Zerno, with superior cup quality.
For the grinder nerds, the SSP cast burrs don’t produce the clarity some options do like the SSP mp burrs but I find this setup a great daily driver option for most coffees with plenty of complexity, intensity and forgiveness.
Bianca doesn’t need any explanation, if you know me you know I’ve been using this machine in different generations since 2019. It’s a beautiful, capable and versatile home machine.
