Many people were fascinated by the Artemis II mission: the return to the Moon, the visuals, the technology.
What caught my attention was something else.
A vast network of teams across companies, countries, and systems coordinating with extreme precision.
The lives of four people depend on teams who may never meet.
That level of coordination doesn’t happen because of motivation, culture, or leadership alone.
It happens because the interfaces between systems are defined and managed.
In business, we invest in people, culture, and strategy. Yet when things need to come together, everything often flows back to one person.
On Wednesday, I’ll be speaking at the Scale Beyond the Founder Virtual Summit about how strategy becomes coordinated action in organizations and why delegation and culture alone are not enough to hold it together.
Not a “how-to.”
A pattern you can’t unsee.
