🌍 Africa Must Rise and Speak
African Leaders Must Stop Acting Like Chickens in a Gathering of Eagles
The United Nations was founded in 1945 and now has 193 member states. Fifty-four of them are African—yet not one African nation holds a permanent seat in the key decision-making bodies.
For too long, foreign interests have grown rich from Africa’s resources while our voices are sidelined. This is not about power for its own sake; it is about dignity, fairness, and the right to shape the future of our own countries.
My brothers and sisters, the time has come for our leaders to speak truth at every global forum. Other countries have profited from our land, our labor, and our riches. We do not seek conquest—we seek respect, fair terms, and the power to decide our destiny. United, we will make the world hear us.
Other nations teach their children to be bold and outspoken, while too many of our own leaders teach fear. This must end. Let us raise a generation unafraid to speak truth, and let every leader show the courage they ask of their people. Only then will Africa stand tall and be heard in every hall of power.
We are all teachers and students, expected to do better with every lesson learned. Let’s not silence the truth—let’s change the world with it.
