Ontario Provincial Police say officers stopped an SUV on Highway 417 after spotting a person sitting in the vehicle’s rear cargo area with the tailgate open while recording nearby traffic. The driver was charged with stunt driving, while the passenger was ticketed for riding in a position without proper seatbelt protection.

The City of Ottawa has resumed its alcohol-in-parks pilot program, allowing adults to consume alcohol in nine designated parks, including Brewer Park, Strathcona Park, Champlain Park, McNabb Park, and Minto Park.
