WOW! We had so many visitors come by yesterday, I just love how we’re spreading wonderful books throughout our neighbourhood! Thank you for your support! 🫶🏻

This morning I have RESTOCKED and there are more awesome summer reads for you to come and choose from! 👀

We have a lot of kids books right now - so grab some fresh reads to help prevent the summer slide! We have kids books themed about summer vacation, holiday time, graduation, a new baby and moving - those life transitions are great topics to explore through books.

Happy Weekend Neighbours! It is Indigenous History Month🧡 as well as the beginning of Pride Season 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️! This month I’ll be sharing Indigenous and 2SLGBTQI+ content in our !

The air quality is getting a bit better, and so I thought it would be a good time to put out the slew of BIOGRAPHIES and MEMOIRS we have on hand. ❤️📚
I have also added some books about Indigenous culture and by Indigenous authors for kids, as well as a biography of an incredible Indigenous leader - Wab Kinew who is the Premier of Manitoba.

🔪🩸The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden.
This was our latest book club read. 👀📖 I have wanted to read a book by Freida McFadden for quite some time - I wanted to see what all the hype is about. This book was definitely a page turner, and I needed to know how it ended. Twist, turns and surprises along the way. It’s a great beach / summertime read. Good simple palette cleanse after some heavier complex fiction recently!
I gather from the reviews and what I’ve heard from others who have read more of her books, this one isn’t her best. But if you’re looking for a page turning psychological thriller, it’s worth a read.

❤️📚 Sundays mean we add new books to our ! Added some books for all ages - and changed the layout of the kids books. Let me know what you think! We have a lot of families that visit so figure why not try to fit more in?

Also, I’m pretty surprised none of the fiction I added last week has moved! There are some awesome historical fiction titles in the mix. Thanks to all of the generous neighboursrs who have donated books!

Restock time! 📚❤️
First of all THANK YOU to everyone who donated books last week for Little Free Library Week! I have just finished organizing all of the donations and WOW, your generosity never ceases to amaze me! We are well stocked for a while! I’m looking forward to doing some fun theme weeks throughout the summer and fall!

📚There are some wonderful new books in the library - a ton of fantastic fiction - including several historical fiction books. I’ve restocked the kids books - adding some beautiful French books 🇫🇷 and some awesome English levelled readers for the kids who are learning to read!
