Record Centre Records is a vinyl-only label aimed at releasing local independent music. Based in Ott

Record Centre Records was launched in 2015 by John Thompson, owner of the Record Centre in Ottawa ON. Our first release, To Trip With Terpsichore by Hilotrons, was well received by critics and vinyl enthusiasts. Since it’s release, we’ve released albums by Juno Award Winning artists such as MonkeyJunk, Oh Susanna and Steve Hill. We’ve released albums that are monumental in the diverse Ottawa music

scene such as Telecomo‘s For Sale, The Heavy Medicine Band‘s Ersatz Era and Bonnie Doon‘s Dooner Nooner. Record Centre Records has become more than a label in the Ottawa Community – It has become a voice for artists and will continue to grow with vinyl releases that speak to the ears of audiophiles and music fans alike.

Nous souhaitons féliciter Cindy Doire, qui vient de remporter 3 prix au Gala Trille Or avec son album Panorama, sorti en vinyle sur Record Centre Records (RCR-025). Cindy a remporté les prix de Meilleure réalisation et arrangements pour Panorama (Mark Howard), Meilleure artiste solo ou groupe - Pop et Meilleure auteure et compositrice.

We would like to congratulate Cindy Doire, who just won 3 awards at the Gala Trille Or with her Panorama album that came out on vinyl on Record Centre Records (RCR-025). Cindy won awards for Best producer and arrangements for Panorama (Mark Howard), Best solo artist of group - Pop and Best singer songwriter.

Our label Record Centre Records is releasing a Nationally distributed Limited Edition RSD Release!
Oh Susanna celebrates the 20th Anniversary release of Johnstown. Pressed at Precision Record Pressing and distributed by Outside Music.
Limited to 500 hand numbered copies! Includes Comic Book Poster and Download of early Cassette recordings of Johnstown songs!
Oh Susanna ( full band) plays live in the store at 4pm as we feature another installment of our The Record Centre: Tiny Stage with interview by Alan Neal of CBC Ottawa All in a Day.
We'll be announcing lots of RSD news in the next week!
