I remember finishing long shifts completely drained.
Physically exhausted.
Emotionally depleted.
And quietly wondering how people do this for 30 or 40 years.
I didnât love feeling like my entire life revolved around work.
The long shifts.
The weekends.
The holidays.
The constant feeling of being needed by everyone.
At some point, I started asking myself:
Is this really the only way?
Not because I hated nursing.
But because I wanted more balance.
More flexibility.
More time for the people who matter most.
Thatâs when I started exploring other ways to create income outside of my job.
I had no business experience.
No marketing background.
No clue where to start.
I just knew I couldnât keep relying on overtime forever.
Looking back, Iâm grateful I gave myself permission to explore something different.
If youâre a healthcare worker wondering whether thereâs another way to build your future without sacrificing your health in the process, youâre not alone.
Have you ever had that realization too?
