💜Brought my best friend’s mom and my niece to see BTS in Toronto and what a night it was. My nieces has been ARMY since day one, and this was their dream concert. Watching them cry during the performance, completely overwhelmed with joy after years of waiting for this moment, was a sight I’ll never forget.

💜And then there was my best friend’s mom, an immigrant who came to this country young, worked hard, and sacrificed so much for her kids. She never really got to just be young, to have that carefree joy without worrying about what comes next. Tonight, she got some of that back. Watching her sing every word and smile like a teenager again, right next to my niece living out her dream, was everything.

💜Being surrounded by ARMY made it even more special! Strangers hugging, crying, singing together like family. I’ve never seen a fandom this loyal. Once an ARMY, always an ARMY. This one was long overdue, for both of them.

You can watch a whole lamb roasting from early in the morning, meats grilling ALL day, saganaki on fire 🔥, souvlaki, gyros, spanakopita, and moussaka. And don’t forget the loukoumades + an iced frappé. 😍

Once you’re done eating, stick around for the live music, dancing and performances. And the Zorba Show at 8:30 PM is one I look forward to EVERY year! There’s also a Marketplace and Arts Court to explore. So come hungry, bring your people, and Live a Day the Greek Way at Ottawa GreekFest! 🇬🇷💙
