There are so many reasons why we love KidsCanSwim but here are the main ones ♥️
We truly enjoyed all the amenities at the Kanata location and our toddler now asks about swim lessons all the time. With regular exposure to swimming, she’s grown more accustomed to water and more comfortable! Can’t wait to see her flourish with swimming.

Ottawa, pick your own apple season has officially started! So, here’s a round up of all the orchards in Ottawa and nearby 🍎 Check individual orchard pages or websites for the varieties of apples available. And HOT tip, go apple picking early because the early bird gets the worm (and they sometimes sell out). Also, wear orchard comfortable footwear and clothes because it can be muddy, wet or buggy. Don’t forget to check out the markets and farm stands because they’ve always got goodies in there (like candy apples). Lastly, orchards typically have portable toilets - plan accordingly!

If you’ve got little ones, bring a stroller or wagon because lugging around lbs of apples and littles can be a workout. There’s often other activities to do at the orchard, so leave extra time! ♥️

Ottawa friends, save this list for all your kid friendly activities this Autumn 🍂 I shared a similar list last year but I’ve reworked it to include more this year! I’m 100% an autumnal person, so with my favourite season coming up - I’ve compiled this list for you! We had a blast apple picking and pumpkin picking last fall. But, we might be attending a few more Halloween themed events this year with A being a little older. If I’m missing any events/activities, please add them to the comments and I’ll pin them.
