Beyond Networking Holiday Party ✨

What an incredible night at celebrating the season with an amazing group of people. The turnout was fantastic, the energy was high, and the room was filled with laughter, connection, and holiday cheer.

But the most meaningful part of the evening?
Toy Mountain for 🎁

Seeing so many toys brought in reminded me that this season is truly about giving back and coming together for something bigger than ourselves. Community, kindness, and generosity were on full display, and my heart is so full.

Huge thank you to for hosting such a special night and to everyone who showed up—not just to network, but to make a difference.

Not the Holidays I asked for, but I will take it 🎁

I have had to put my life on pause for the past two weeks after getting this nasty Influenza A and Pneumonia. It crept up on me like a thief in the night and took over my soul. ☠️

It quickly affected my family and has went through the Ottawa region, hospitals, retirement, schools and much more. If there’s one thing I know by working in the medical field, it’s that not just keeping myself healthy but those around me is most important. This flu has been sticking around with people anywhere from seven days to several weeks. Just try and stay healthy and if you feel like you have the sniffles, stay home or mask up. It’s not about protecting just yourself but about protecting the vulnerable.

This year always hits me really hard because of the loss I’ve experienced in the month of December, so I guess I was handed the flu to keep me from focussing on that.

To the partners I work with, thanks for understanding and I will be back creating content when I’m 100%. Everyone else enjoy your holidays and stay safe and remember that the true meaning of happiness are those that surround you and do the little things for you.

So here’s my holiday post and the baked goods and food content will come later. ❣️❣️

It was this time last year I was modelling winter fashion with Lynn thanks to . She’s a style icon and makes us all feel so beautiful. The back room is full of laughs, hype (free of charge) by Lynn and new faces to meet. I feel like we need to make this a tradition. What do you say, ladies? It was so nice seeing all the girls and I think we need to officially call ourselves the “7am Crew”.
