This week we’re checking out This Love Is Drone, as this week’s featured group, apart of our weekly Artist Series 🇨🇦🍁

takes us back up to Northern Ontario, where this four-piece, riff-heavy group is really heating things up with a string of new releases over the coming weeks.

Since 2023, the band has been bringing synth-laced riffs, chaos, and humour to the stage—and they don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

This summer, they’ll be releasing four new singles as part of their Hot Summer Singles Series. The first single, and perhaps their most sincere song, “Grim Joke,” was released on June 5. “I’m a Spider, Baby!” arrives on June 26, followed by “Imprint,” featuring Dried Up Daisies, on July 17.

The series wraps up with what the band describes as their most sinister song yet, “Hail, Leighton!”, releasing on August 7.

TLID is also set to play its biggest show yet at River & Sky this summer on July 23, just outside North Bay, Ontario, before heading to Toronto for its first Southern Ontario show on August 8.

Head over to the band’s socials at or check them out now on all major streaming platforms.
