What do you get when dance flows with the rhythm of a waterfall?
In The Oculus, we set out to capture movement the way Houston feels it, fluid, powerful, and endlessly alive.

Working with Choreographer Kelly Ann Vitacca and our creative team, we crafted a performance inspired entirely by the flow, rhythm, and force of the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall. With eight synchronized choreographies, custom-built costumes designed for fluid motion, and an original music score crafted for this piece, every movement was shaped by water itself.
The Waterwall capsule blends precision, artistry, and technology, stitching together eight sequences into one seamless immersive story.

From blank walls to vibrant canvases, “Mural” in The Oculus tells a story of color, community, and resilience. Inspired by Houston’s dual identity as Space City and Bayou City, lush greens flow with the rhythm of the bayou, while vibrant oranges ignite the spirit of space exploration.

To bring this vision to life, our team partnered with a remarkable lineup of local artists, each selected for their unique style and deep connection to Houston’s culture. Filmed over three days with six synchronized cameras as six artists painted in real time, the piece captures an extraordinary transformation, turning raw concrete into a living tribute to innovation and artistry.

Inside The Oculus, a journey of mechanical artistry where interlocking gears gracefully unveil an intricate orrery, a living astronomical clock where celestial spheres orbit in perfect harmony.

This mesmerizing ballet of planets and moons unfolds, offering travelers a brief yet enchanting glimpse into the elegant dance of our solar system.

The celestial choreography mirrors Houston itself, bold, inventive, and endlessly in motion. From the raw energy of its streets to the elegance of the stars above, Houston tells its story through science, technology and soul.

The style diversity of Houston.
When Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, our team was deep in the tunnels of George Bush Intercontinental Airport, cameras rolling, lights blazing, and walls waiting to come alive.
Between two cement walls stretching 350 feet, Gentilhomme Studio captured the city’s pulse: its colors, culture, and unstoppable energy, and together with local artists, transformed raw concrete into expressions of creativity, diversity, and pride.
Each mural captures Houston’s heartbeat, a visual symphony of traditions, styles, and stories revealed through a vibrant timelapse that now comes alive inside The Oculus.
