Thursday Jamz!

THIS THURSDAY Sept. 3rd. Our great COLLECTIVE JAM night at Parkwood Restaurant kicks off for fall, 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month! As always, our city’s finest musicians will take to the PARKWOOD STAGE and jam out together! There is always a core group of pros to entertain and you just never know who's going to be in the house and get up on stage! These seasoned stage warriors are sure to provide some great takes on songs you love along with original material from the "collective members"! This week’s lineup includes Jaret Koop, Mike Weir, Pete Devlin, Trevor Mackenzie and more!

O.S. Collective? The Owen Sound Collective is a group of musicians, writers, and producers from Owen Sound and the surrounding area who come together to perform in a variety of unique configurations. Each performance highlights a different combination of artists and styles.

This special evening is a celebration of local artists, shared memories, familiar songs, and the community that connects us to this land. Before Summerfolk 51 begins, we gather to honour the musicians whose stories and music have helped shape Grey Bruce and Owen Sound.

Rural Soundscapes

A soundtrack designed to sync with a scenic drive, allowing listeners to start at a specific point and enjoy a unique, immersive experience along the route.

Rural Soundscapes Volume 1 begins at 44.70605 N & 80.92748 W in Georgian Bluffs Ontario Canada on Grey Road 1, or, "the Women's Institute Lookout" Parquette (A.K.A the Tea Cups)
and continues along Island View Drive / Grey Rd 1 for approximately 30 minutes to 44.74067 N, 81.14085 W, or,
The Historic Frosty Freeze in Wiarton.

Hit play as you head out on Island View Drive and let these sounds provide a sonic companion to the rugged vistas of our Bruce Peninsula.

Please follow the speed limit as closely and safely as possible for the sounds to synch to your surroundings, always follow the rules of the road and have a sober designated driver.

After a decade on the bay, we’ve decided it’s time for a change.

As much as we love the summers on the water, the sunrises, and my amazing studio, we’ve come to realize that the winters, the distance from town, and the upkeep of the property are becoming a lot to manage.

This place has been much more than a house to us. It’s been the backdrop for some incredible memories.

If you’ve ever dreamed of life on the bay, this is truly a magical spot. We hope the next owners will love it as much as we have and create their own unforgettable memories here.

As for us, we’re looking forward to whatever the next chapter may bring, which will absolutely include more music!
