What a golden weekend at Summerfolk’s 50th! Summerfolk delivered once again!!
Incredible lines of artists across six stages blew us away, legends like Ron Sexsmith, Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Danny Michel, The MacMaster Leahy Family, Delhi 2 Dublin, plus dozens more rising stars and hometown favourites lit up Kelso Beach. A true mix of legacy and fresh voices.
The artisan village and food offerings were fantastic. Whether local crafts or international eats, every booth served up something memorable — stories behind every creation, tastes that made you pause and savour the moment.
And that community spirit… it’s what sets Summerfolk apart. From the “Coming Home” opening concert that welcomed everyone with open arms, to young and old dancing together and singing to song favourites in union, this festival still thrives on connection. You don't just watch performances — you share them.
Looking ahead, if this weekend taught us anything, it’s that Summerfolk is far from resting on its laurels. This half-century milestone wasn’t a finale — it was a statement of resilience, heritage and hopeful ambition, a spark for the next fifty.
Here’s to the artists, vendors, volunteers, families and fans who made it legendary. See you next year, and the year after that!
