Tonia Evans Cianciulli Soprano/Author, author of The Heart's Obsession: An Intimate Biography of Newfoundland Songstress Georgina Stirling, recorded a lovely tribute to Georgina Stirling, which you can see at the link in her post.

Barry talked about his stories of manning lighthouses for the Canadian Coast Guard, many of which are featured in his memoir, Adventures of a Lightkeeper, being portrayed as comic strips in The Washington Post. Incredible news! Barry Porter - Author will be interviewed about his career with the Canadian Coast Guard manning lighthouses in the Notre Dame Bay area by The National on CBC News during their nighttime broadcast, which will air at 10:30pm NL time, during a segment called The Moment. If you're unable to catch the broadcast, the interview will be archived on Youtube the next day.

Barry collected a wide array of stories of his time in the lighthouses in his memoir, Adventures of a Lightkeeper, which was released in 2022, and is still gaining new readers, we're thrilled with the response.
