We’re on location at Quality Foods in Parksville shooting our next video podcast for the . 🍏 🛒 🆘

The SOS uses their bus for many reasons that benefit the community including the bi-weekly trip to the grocery store for local seniors who need assistance getting their groceries.🚐

The 🆘 bus picks them up at their home, a couple of volunteers are on hand to assist with grocery shopping, if needed. They gather to have coffee before leaving and finally they get dropped off and even get their groceries carried in for them. Amazing!

The bus is in need of major repairs and requires replacement therefore the SOS is fundraising specifically for this purpose.

Local businesses can support the SOS by donating funds. With donations of $1,000, you can get your company logo on the bus, which is driven throughout the community almost daily.

We’re thrilled to share details about our upcoming TELUS STORYHIVE video podcast series, airing on TELUS Optik TV in 2026.

A studio revamp is currently underway as we prepare for filming and production of Branches Between Generations this summer.

This unique podcast invites eight seniors (ages 55–95) and eight youth (ages 12–17) to engage in meaningful, intergenerational conversations—exploring everything from technology to relationships, history, careers, and what truly stands the test of time.
