The Parry Sound Community Radio Association will be filing our application for community radio in a matter of 8 to 10 weeks!! Our engineer's brief has determined, tentatively, that we will be heard at 97.9 FM, call letters CHCE FM. We have received endorsements from our MP, MPP, area municipal councils, business, service clubs and organizations and from private citizens. We would very much like to hear from you. The Parry Sound Community Radio Association has mailed out over 200 letters to area businesses and organizations asking for an endorsement of our efforts to bring Community FM Radio to Parry Sound! Statistics Canada reported in 2018 a total of 226 non-commercial radio stations garnered a total revenue of $76.6 million.
