The current Cogeco service interruption is affecting NRTC cable customers as well. Cogeco is currently repairing an outage impacting all services in Renfrew, Arnprior, Petawawa and Pembroke areas. Technicians have been dispatched and are working diligently to resolve as soon as possible. There is an ETA set for early afternoon at this time but this can change as progression happens.

Planned Maintenance Window
August 14, 2024 from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Due to replacement of utility poles along Hwy 148 / Pembroke Street East and its impact on NRTC infrastructure, there will be a service interruption for our Petawawa and Pembroke customers during this time period.

UPDATE: As of 7:00 p.m. repairs were completed to our damaged fibre cable and service was restored for customers. Thank you for your patience!

UPDATE: AS of 5:00 p.m. we have located where our fibre cable was damaged. Unfortunately, a third party was trimming trees along Hwy 148 and damaged NRTC's aerial fibre cable with a chainsaw. Our outside plant technicians have begun the repair work and hope to have service restored before 7:00 p.m.

We are investigating a possible cable cut to one of our main fibre service cables that would be causing a service interruption to our customers in Pembroke and Petawawa. We have technicians on location working diligently to restore service as soon as possible. We do not yet have an estimated time of repair. Thank you for your understanding.
