In honour of Earth Day we are highlighting one of our clients .edge.cottages and their efforts to protect and preserve their area of the globe.

As a digital marketing agency with a focus on tourism and adventure travel, we love nature, wildlife and exploring the beautiful places this world offers.

It is important to us to honour the indigenous peoples who have cared for these lands for generations and to do our part in protecting them for the future. We tread lightly, value sustainability, responsible travel and a deeper connection to the places with live, work and explore.

These kiddos were fantastic models for our video shoot at today! They skated, drank hot chocolate, roasted marshmallows, ate breakfast and splashed about in the indoor pool.

A hard days work but they were up for the challenge and were fab!

There's so many great things for families to do at Elmhirst's, even in winter ❄️

A big happy birthday shout out today to Tracy! 🎉 She might not look impressed because she knows she isn't actually on that beach, but all our clients are happy because life's a beach when she manages their projects. We are also pretty sure Tracy will be on an actual beach soon. Happy Birthday !!

October was a busy month for Birchbark Media with 3 tourism summits!

🍁 Ontario Tourism Summit in Ottawa - Oct 28th & 29th. We listened to speakers and panels from a range of topics, met with industry colleagues from across the province and were finalists in the Digital Marketing Award category.

🌳 RTO8's Regional Tourism Summit - Oct 21st.
As RTO8's agency of record we assisted with the planning and ex*****on of the Summit as well as our in-house writer, Matt Snell acting as a moderator.

🦌 RTO12's Regional Tourism Summit - Oct 16th.
Birchbark's president, Scott Adams was a guest speaker at this Summit with his presentation; "Evergreen vs. Fast Burn: Visual Storytelling That Lasts."

As a marketing agency that focuses on tourism, adventure travel and the outdoors we enjoy learning what is new in the industry, connecting with industry professionals and sharing our knowledge at these events!

Birchbark Media, a digital marketing agency in Peterborough, is looking for people to take part in fall photo shoots for our client, RTO8, Kawarthas Northumberland.

We’re seeking:
🍂 A family with school-age children
🍁 A couple (ages 20–50)
🛶 A couple (ages 55+)
🍎 A group of adult friends (any age)

Shoots will be on weekdays during the day at a cottage resort in Northumberland County the week of October 6th (specific date TBD), with a possible second shoot near Fenelon Falls.

We’ll be capturing fun fall activities like hiking, canoeing, kayaking, boat rides, and bonfires.
