🌟 Anna and the Events Cruiser were at Millennium Park today for the 23rd Annual Hike for Hospice! This special community event brings together families, friends, and neighbors to remember loved ones and support Hospice Peterborough. 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
It’s more than a walk... it’s a morning full of connection, reflection, and togetherness. From quiet moments to joyful conversations, the park was alive with community spirit. Thanks to everyone making today so meaningful!

🏳️‍🌈 The Pete Cruiser is hanging out at Millennium Park this afternoon for Pride in the Park! There’s live music on stage, local vendors with great food and goodies, and lots of fun activities happening. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—come be part of the celebration with us!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🚒 The Pete Events Cruiser is live at the Millbrook Fairgrounds for Touch a Truck! From 10–2, kids are exploring big rigs, tractors, police vehicles, and firetrucks. The fairgrounds are buzzing with excitement, and it’s such a fun way for families to see the vehicles that keep our community moving. If you've got kids, or just want to learn more about these cool vehicles, this is the event for you! Come say hi before we pack up!

It was such a high-energy morning at the Riverview Zoo Fun Run 🏃🐾 Families running, walking, and cheering each other on — all in support of the zoo. A wonderful way to combine community spirit with staying active outdoors!

CLEARED (10:16 p.m.): County Road 2 has re-opened at Bensfort Road in Peterborough. One individual was pronounced deceased as the result of a single motorcycle collision. The OPP thanks bystanders who provided assistance at the scene. ^pia

ROAD CLOSURE: County Road 2 and Bensfort Rd. intersection in Peterborough is closed in all directions, due to a collision. Injuries have been reported and are being assessed. Avoid the area and use alternate routes. Updates to follow. ^pia
