1) Made with nourishing oils and butters rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are essential to healthy skin.

2) Handmade soap gently cleanses the skin without stripping it of it's natural oils.

3) Glycerin is a natural occurrence during saponification (when the oil and lye solution make chemistry together and transform into soap!). Glycerin is a humectant; it attracts moisture and gives it back to your skin. Some Commercial soap makers often remove the glycerin from their soap and then sell it to the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, but with my soaps all of the naturally occurring glycerin remains intact along with all its skin-loving benefits! There is no lye in the finished soap, but you SIMPLY CANNOT have soap that didn’t have lye in the process. Lye is what makes the soap, soap. The lye reacts with the oils and butters through a chemical process called saponification and the end result is soap. Each oil and butter requires a specific amount of lye to saponify so measurements have to be very exact. I love making soap and I love sharing my craft with everyone! This is what I've been up to for the last few weeks.... not much. Healing. Very dull and boring but necessary. I tore a tendon in my knee and had emergency surgery to repair it. So soaping and other fun stuff are on hold for a few months. Bear with me!
