Throwing back to August 2010 and I had been living in the Valley for 3 months. I was getting to know a lot of people by hanging out at the Harbour Quay and was shooting weekends for the now closed "Alberni Valley Times". It was at the Harbour Quay where I met one of Port Alberni's legends (the late great Bill Surrey) who told me about the Alberni Valley Drag Race Association's "Thunder In The Valley" and invited to come out and shoot. My ears will never be the same! :-)

I try to limit my posts of performances to about 30 images but these guys deserve a little extra attention.
