Who? Men of all ages from Port Hope, Cobourg, Northumberland County and beyond. A Barbershop Harmony Society chorus singing from memory and without accompaniment (a cappella). John's Parish Hall, 33 Pine St. N., Port Hope

When? Tuesdays, 7PM-9:00PM, year-round. Why? We love to sing and entertain. How? Led by an award winning chorus director, we learn words and music with

Local 40 is the Chorus's Learning and Encouragement Quartet. The quartet provides an opportunity for members to "Step -in" to sing their part with 3 others to "ring some chords" as well as helping the chorus learn new music.

Hey Everyone! We had a great rehearsal this past Tuesday night. Our Music Director Rick H returned from vacation and was excited and encouraged by our progress on learning 3 new songs.
We had a guest join us and we prepared for our performance happening this Saturday at 2pm at the Cobourg Museum on Orr Street. Come out and see the displays and listen to some 4-part A ca****la close harmony!❤️💈🎶

It's today! Members of our Division; A Ca****la Quinte Barbershop Chorus , Ganaraska Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus , Oakridge Mixed Chorus , Aces Of Harmony Peterborough, Durham Men Of Harmony, and their guests will be taking their respective rehearsals off tonight as we meet in Fellowship and song ... Oh and food! Lots of food! Rumour has it Oakridge 4 Local 40 (in various forms!), and Ms4Tune Quartets will be singing as well. It's going to be a fun evening!

Tonight the Ganaraska Chordsmen held their 2025 Executive Installation and Christmas party. Catered by Black Dress Catering!
Ontario District EVP Dave Wallace installed the Executive. He also presented the Ganaraskals 2024 Barbershopper of the Year award to Gord McArthur! The chorus and Local 40 quartet performed some songs.
Another great year of 4-part a ca****la close harmony!
