We are excited to kick off 2026 with a big release for CR030.

Introducing Cimmerian Volume 4 🔊✨

For our 30th catalogue release, Cimmerian Records turns inward and outward at once, presenting the fourth instalment in our curated compilation series.
This chapter gathers voices from across the globe featuring Inner Echo, Jafu, Khromi, Tellus, Jungle Rootz, Kilbourne, Saraphim, Ponda, MAE B, Method Sound & iNTRiKeT. Each artist contributes a distinct perspective to a shared sonic language.

Departing from the weight forward urgency of our previous compilations, this release explores a deeper current: melodic, emotionally driven music built for sound systems and late night reflection. Jazzy chords, dubwise sensibilities, and textured low end weave together to form a cohesive journey rather than a rigid tempo exercise. While not confined to 140 BPM, the compilation remains unified by intention, space, groove, and atmosphere guiding the listener from beginning to end.

This is a slower burn, a different shade of the Cimmerian spectrum. Music for dim rooms and moments where restraint speaks louder than force. A reminder that depth is not only measured in pressure, but in feeling.

Label head Kilbourne joins us as our host and closing set for the evening as we welcome back to the Northern Sunshine Coast.

Emerging from the coastal rainforests of British Columbia's Sunshine Coast and Gulf Islands comes Kilbourne, the founder and curator of Cimmerian Records.

Kilbourne channels a sound resonating on deep foundations. He aims to craft a sonic narrative deeply rooted in sound system culture and low-end frequencies. His productions and sets are curated to be sonic journeys designed to evolve emotionally and blend organic textures with the sounds of Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Grime, Breakbeats, Techno & more.

Over the past decade you may have caught sets from him at festivals like Future Forest, Wicked Woods, Cumberland Wild, Pachena Bay, Samsara, Lamplight and more.

Joining us to vend and live paint this Saturday as we welcome in to the Sunshine Coast is .

Laurena Evalina is an artist who has the profound privilege of living and working on a piece of the traditional unceded territories of the Pentlach people, which is now known as Denman Island. Growing up so close to nature shaped who she is as an artist and as a person. Her work is an eclectic mix of mediums and styles that oscillate between three overarching themes. Firstly, her work is often an expression of her profound love and respect for the natural world, and she uses her art as a way to try to visually teach the viewer about nature and the need for its preservation. She often tries to find creative ways to give new lives to old or discarded materials, which can be seen in her upcycled collages or art installations. Secondly, her work is often used as a method of healing and connecting spiritually to something intangible and mysterious. Her art can be a transformation of emotions, the process of which unearths little lessons and hidden metaphors about life. Thirdly, she likes to use her work as a form of play, which can be seen in her latest body of work ‘Lost Between The Lines’ which is a series of abstract paintings exploring her love for texture, movement and geometry.

She is a graduate of the Fine Arts Program at North Island College and can be found presenting her work across Vancouver Island and beyond.
