Here’s an important question about ✨LILIES✨ - do you like when they arrive in your floral arrangements OPEN or CLOSED? You know we pride ourselves on vase longevity + many of the floral arrangements that go out of this shop include unopened lilies so that you will be able to enjoy all stages of the bloom opening up at home. Funeral, wedding + other event pieces are a little different + because longevity is not the goal we ensure these lilies are fully open to enjoy for the day of the event. Well, the cold + flu season has officially started in my household less than a week into the school year! How about your household? I’ll definitely be sneaking home one of our eucalyptus shower bundles for my little guy to enjoy with his next shower. Although we are trying to soak up every last moment of summer, the fall floral vibes are starting early in this shop! Our morning started before the 9 o’clock bell with this gorgeous red, white + blue hand-tied bouquet being delivered to the Coast Guard for a very special visitor; they sent us a photo to recreate + requested Coast Guard colours as the inspiration for the colour palette. We love the local support, thank you friends!❤️

Do you know what an order gatherer is? In our opinion, they shouldn’t even exist + they probably wouldn’t if the public knew their business model + how they take away business from small town florists all over this country, as well as take away from your bottom dollar! These awful entities often use deceptive marketing tactics like sponsored advertising on search engines like Google, and fake numbers + addresses to pose as a neighbourhood shop, while pocketing a large portion of your payment before passing off a cheapened order to the real small town local florists. We don’t deal with the crooks but we’ve been tricked into it before! It’s not a good feeling being ‘nickled + dimed’ over the phone by someone masking as a customer while in fact we are about to drop off a far-below-value floral arrangement from an order gatherer with our name on it! The worst part is most times the initial paying customer believes they originally called a florist to place their order + these entities refuse to share the customer’s phone number with us, so there’s no way to contact them + educate them about it.😔

How can you help?
✨For the freshest flowers, visit your local flower shop in person when you can (we guarantee you we will have higher quality, longer-lasting flowers than the grocery store or pharmacy at the same price points)
✨Use Google maps to locate the closest local flower shop to the area you’d like to send it + contact them directly through there
✨Contact your local florist directly (avoid 1-800 numbers + quick-send websites like those on funeral home pages)
✨Educate the people in your life who send flowers about it (many are unaware - SHARE our social media pages to help them out)

OPEN UNTIL 3 PM! It’s not too late to sneak those last-minute orders in for the day friends!
