launch title BRAD HAWKE: SUPER CHAMPION ON CAMPUS giving the label a great deal of exposure at Northern Fancon 2019. Meier Comics is about contributing to & supporting the local economy in it's own way through releasing digital & print editions of all of it's original & creator owned comic books that it releases six times a year on a bi-monthly basis.

It's been a while since I last talked about my progress in regards to Issue 0 of my comic book Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus. I'm happy to announce that the first four panels on page 21 (the last page I need to complete before I can call the comic book I've been working on for nearly four years finished as all of the other ones up to this point are done) have been completed. I just have two more panels yet to work on & complete. As soon as they are done, I will definitely show you a new progress photo or two as soon as I am able.

I have great news!! I'm still progressing where completing my comic book is concerned. Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus Issue 0 is almost done. Just one more page & that's it. I can't believe that after three years (now four years as I did not get this book finished in time for the Northern BC Toy Expo or Fancon), now that page 16 is done & out of the way, I can finally work on page 21, the last page of the book needing to be completed. As soon as it's done, text & lettering added in, I can finally call this project finished, stop by Papyrus Printing & get copies made in advance so that I can have them on hand for both events, that way I don't have to make copies of the book days before the Northern BC Toy Expo or Fancon actually happens. This is the happiest day of my life 😁👍

Things have been tough for me the last couple of years, due to personal problems, things that life throws at me unexpectedly & due to the fact that doing the kind of artwork that I do takes a great deal of time & is a lot of hard work, but make no mistake, the hard work I put into my comic books is always worth it.

Even though I was unsuccessful in my attempts to get my comic book finished in time for the Northern BC Toy Expo (I'm still going, keep that in mind. See my latest story for more details) & this year's Northern Fancon, I intend to be successful when next year rolls around. That's right, I'm still going to complete the last two pages of the book this week & this weekend, get copies of it made in advance in late June for Fancon 2025 (so that I don't have to do so days before Fancon or the Northern BC Toy Expo happens in the year in question).

I'll showcase more progress photos in regards to the completion of the final two pages of Brad Hawke Issue 0 as soon as they become available. You can count on that.

After thinking it over last night, I have decided to work on finishing page 21 of my comic book Brad Hawke Super Champion On Campus Issue 0 this afternoon & all of tonight as I plan to have it finished before tomorrow morning, so that I can work on & finish page 16 the next day, should all go well & without a hitch. I am really looking forward to getting the final two pages done over the course of the next couple of days, today & tomorrow. Once done, I will finally be able to take the whole comic book project over to Papyrus Printing early morning Thursday at 8 or 9am to get the 30 copies made. I'll have another progress report for all of you the next day before I work on page 16.

Sorry for the late response. I've just been crazy busy working like a dog trying to get the comic book that almost did not get finished done in time for Wednesday or Thursday morning. However, I have good news!!

Page 19 of Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus Issue 0 is done! As of now, only two pages remain. I will be working to get them done late night tonight/early morning tomorrow (page 16) & tomorrow late night/early morning Wednesday (page 21-the last page as all of the others are completed). I am so very excited about this! 😊👍

Finally & after a long few days, I was finally able to finish Page 20 of my long time in the making comic book Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus Issue 0. Now, I am officially down to the final three pages of the book, pages 19, 16 & 21. If all goes well, I hope to get page 19 done over the course of tonight & Saturday morning so that I can finish Page 16 on Saturday night & most of Sunday morning. That way I can focus on making & finishing page 21, the last page needing to be done on Sunday & Monday of next week.

As soon as they are done, text & lettering added in, I hope to be able to stop into Papyrus Printing to get the 20 copies I need made & ready for the Northern BC Toy Expo on Wednesday morning or afternoon.

I regret to inform you that because of personal problems & a few other things that were out of my control, a lot of which has derailed my progress in regards to completing Issue 0 of my comic book BRAD HAWKE: SUPER CHAMPION ON CAMPUS, it is with heavy heart that I will not be able to make it to Northern Fancon this year, just like last year. I feel just absolutely horrible about all this. I sincerely hope you can forgive my for me making this unfortunate decision.

The good news is, the final four remaining pages are almost finished & will be completed before either next week or the week after. The good news is & it's official. I will be appearing at the Northern BC toy expo later on this month if any of you wish to see me there. It runs from May 25th to 26th. I have absolutely no plans to miss out on being there.

Please do accept my sincerest of apologies. I promise you that I will never make my readers wait like this ever again. I deeply regret having to back out at the last minute two times. Once last year & again this year.

Finally, after all this time, I have now completed a huge chunk of my comic book Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus Issue 0. Pages 1-15 are now completed (text & lettering added in, too). I am now down to the final four remaining pages. If all goes well tonight, I will be one step closer to finishing this comic book before either Wednesday or Thursday (as Papyrus Printing told me than they can still make the 30 copies for me before Friday, which is when I'll be needing them for Fancon this year, but I have until Thursday to do so. They told me as long as I get it into them by that day, they'll be good to go).

Tonight, I'll be working on & finishing page 16 before I get started on page 19 on Monday night. Something I'm really looking forward to. This is the happiest moment of my life. However, when I do, it's not going to take me as long as I plan to simplify a few things about the final four remaining pages (artwork wise) & reduce the amount of grey tones & highlights that I use, as I plan to (going forward), do just black and white artwork with small, but reasonable amounts of grey tones & highlights (& what have you) added when necessary.

At last, I'm finally finished with Brad Hawke Super: Champion On Campus Issue 0 page 15. All I have to do now is add in the text & lettering to it. I now have six pages left to go & don't worry about a thing, they will get done in time for Fancon as I plan to have this book done before the end of the month, maybe sooner depending on how long it takes me to finish them. Somehow, this comic book, which has spent three years in the making, will soon see its completion. I can hardly wait to finally get around to doing so.

Hi everyone

It's been a while since I last posted anything on Facebook, so I thought I'd give you an update on what's been happening with my comic book Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus Issue 0.

Over the course of the next few weekends this month & some of next month, as I feel weekends work better for me when it comes to working on this project, I will be finishing up with page 15 today & page 11 tomorrow so that on Monday & Tuesday of next week, I can add in the text & lettering to the finished pages. Once they're done, I will be working on & finishing with the final five remaining pages.

I can hardly wait to get this comic book, which has spent two or three years in the making finished, as I plan to have it done before the middle of April, so that copies can be made once I take it in to Papyrus Printing.

I will keep you updated & posted on my progress as soon as I am able.

I regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond my control, namely the hot water tank in my apartment building failing to the point where a new one had to be brought in as well as a few other contributing factors, I will not be appearing at Northern Fancon this year with Brad Hawke Issue 0.
I feel just horrible about not being able to make it to this year's event, but the good news is I will be making an honest effort to appearing at Fancon next year.

If anything good can come out of this, I will have a lot more time to finish working on Brad Hawke Issue 0, as I now have only 11 pages left to finish, which I will continue to work on over the course of this month & will start making copies of sometime in early June so that I can have them on hand for when I appear at Fancon next year.

To make up for not appearing at Fancon this year, I'm going to consider making an appearance at the next Northern BC Toy Expo in the fall. I will definitely talk to Mat Walker about the possibility of that happening.

Therefore I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused, as well as ask for your forgiveness & understanding in this matter.

After a few days & most of last month, I have now finished the first of many MEIER COMICS Series One 2.5 x 3.5 inch trading cards, this one of the new supporting character Naira Alexandre: The Immortal Superheroine. She will be making her first appearance in Issue 0 of Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus. This trading card will be included with said comic book (packaged together in the same comic book protective bag) once copies have been made later this month. In the meantime, I will be getting back into working on Brad Hawke Issue 0 & getting it finished in time for Fancon, now that the trading card is finished being made. I will keep you updated on my progress as soon as new info becomes available.
