This post has a lot to do with a beverage I enjoy drinking whenever I play retro video games. Here's a reshare of this post, in case new followers, should they come my way want to see it.

In addition to purchasing, trying & enjoying the Mortal Kombat Ice Shatter flavor of G-Fuel energy, which I bought at Sweet Exotics, I also purchased, tried & enjoyed the Blue Ice flavor as well. I can hardly wait to try more of the other flavors, too, namely ones for Sonic The Hedgehog, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat & many others. I am a G-Fuel energy fan for life. 👍🎮😁

During the making of the DVD releases of the soon to be revamped & remade Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos show, I plan to have on hand cans of this awesome energy drink. It's G-Fuel. Zero sugar, extreme focus & performance energy. The official drink of eSports. My friend Shaun Bargy introduced me to this stuff (the powdered version in packets) & let's just say...I absolutely swear by this stuff. I love it. Thanks to a new store in Pine Center Mall called Sweet Exotics carrying the canned version of G-Fuel, I'll have to stop in over once a month to buy a few cans of this stuff. Thanks, Sweet Exotics! You guys are awesome!! 😁👍🤘🎮

I have a big announcement to make in regards to the show MIKE'S VIDEO GAME PLAYTHROUGH VIDEOS. Plans are in the works to continue making the show, as well as release episodes of the show on DVD. Each disk in a two-disk set will contain over 22 episodes (including remakes of past episodes that I featured on this page, plus ones I originally planned to feature on here & on YouTube, should I consider doing so). The DVDs will be region free & available to anyone interested in wanting to buy a copy of the show's first 22 episodes.

I will keep you updated on when that will be happening as soon as new info becomes available.

Just today, I was able to playthrough & conquer Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers on Sega Genesis. I'm not entirely sure if I will consider doing a playthrough of that game when I get back into making this show again, but who knows? I might as I now have all the necessary equipment to make it happen (a model 2 Sega Genesis, A/V connection cable & my current capture card that I use for making my show). I'll keep you in the know as soon as I'm able to in regards to when I will be making any future episodes of my show. I'm still trying to recover from some of the personal problems I've been going through lately. I'm doing somewhat better, but it's going to take some time before I'm even able to do just that.

Plans are in the works to bring back Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos in late June sometime. I'm not exactly sure when in the month in question I'll be doing so, but I will keep you in the know as time wears on. Since I'll be getting into doing longplays of video games that were released for the older consoles, namely Super Nintendo, Nintendo NES, Sega Genesis & others, I plan on doing playthroughs of the following games: Xevious, Tiger-Heli, Twin Cobra & GYRUSS.

Because of personal issues & whatever else I may be doing at this time, it is with heavy heart that Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos will be going on indefinite hiatus until further notice. I'm not sure when & if I'll be getting back into doing the show, but there is a possibility that it might be back in the late summer of this year as I plan to produce & record the episodes then save them onto an SD card for a while before I consider uploading them to this page. Therefore I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I wish the circumstances behind why the show is going on hiatus were better to tell you the truth, but sadly, no. 😞

Later this month, hopefully, as I have been away from doing video game longplays for such a long time now that it isn't even funny (due to personal problems, unwarranted stresses & a few other issues in my life that needed to be dealt with), plus getting ready to do a new video podcast I plan to do sometime this year (I'm not sure when exactly) I will be getting started on recording new episodes of Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos. For the next few episodes, I will be focusing heavily on doing longplays of video games released for the Super Nintendo, Nintendo NES & Sega Genesis. The three games I'll be doing longplays of will be Tiger-Heli, Twin Cobra & GYRUSS (once I get the 30-lives Konami code & be able to try using it as GYRUSS is a difficult game to play, if your doing a one player game playthrough). I hope to start making it the episodes later this month. I'm not exactly sure if that will be possible just yet, but I will keep you updated on my progress as soon as I am able to do so.

Sometime in late February/early March, Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos may return with a couple of new episodes, as I bought myself a new USB capture card, one that will allow me to capture video gameplay footage of games released on the Nintendo NES (when they're played on the Retron-3). Not only that, I also found an A/V composite cable for the model 2 Sega Genesis, which will also allow me to capture gameplay footage of games released for the Sega Genesis using the same device. That means I could very well get around to doing a playthrough of Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition on Genesis. However, I won't be able to make any new episodes just yet as I'm still working on Brad Hawke Issue 0 & have every intention to get it finished by February 2nd in addition to dealing with personal problems & healing from some incredibly negative experiences I went through long ago. As soon as that issue of the comic is done, I'll be back making new video game playthrough videos once again.

When I go about producing episodes of MIKE'S VIDEO GAME PLAY THROUGH VIDEOS (on Facebook) & RETRO GAMING PLAY THROUGHS WITH MIKE (on YouTube), I'll be recycling footage of the video games I'll be doing play throughs of during post production using OpenShot Video Editor after the footage I recorded (my speaking parts-to be used as filler material & footage of me playing the games). After I buy another micro SD card (64GB), I'll be able to store all of the finished episodes of RETRO GAMING PLAY THROUGHS WITH MIKE, while using the current one I have for when I store all of the finished episodes of MIKE'S VIDEO GAME PLAY THROUGH VIDEOS. This is going to be a very exciting venture I'll be partaking in. I'm not sure when I'll be getting around to doing that, but I will keep you in the know as time wears on. Not to worry.

Plans are now officially in the works to do some playthrough videos for my YouTube channel (which I have never once used in my entire life as I have shied away from doing so for personal reasons) under the name of Retro Gaming Playthroughs with Mike. Make no mistake, I will still be able to make new episodes of Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos & upload them to this very page. That will never change (once I've been able to overcome the personal problems that have caused me to stop doing them for a while). I'm not entirely sure when that's going to be happening, but I will keep you in the know as time wears on.

As of this week, plans will be in the works to get back into producing another episode of Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos. I'll be doing a playthrough of a classic late 80s Nintendo NES title using the Retron 3 game console. That game being Twin Cobra. I tried it out as soon as I purchased it from 2nd Thoughs Buy and Sell this week and let's just say I really like it & am really looking forward to playing it, which I'll be doing using the NES Advantage arcade stick controller (which has the ability to do turbo fire, a function I really like about this controller).

Sorry for not posting anything new on this page. I've just been preoccupied with a lot of things as of lately. I had my hands full with Northern Fancon, selling copies of the new Meier Comics Insider magazine as well as any copies I had left of Brad Hawke: Super Champion On Campus Issue 1 original first edition & special updated second edition releases.

Not only that, I was also dealing with some personal problems that really got me down for the count, a lot of which brought on by painful past experiences I've been struggling to overcome & heal from for such a long time now that it isn't even funny. A lot of those things greatly impacted my gameplay experience & how I emotionally & mentally handle playing video games with high replay values due to the difficulty levels a lot of them have.

As soon as I recover from the emotional difficulties I've been going through as of lately, I will return with new episodes of Mike's Video Game Playthrough Videos & they will be made available on this page. Plans are in the works to upload episodes to my YouTube channel (as I don't have anything on it. It's been like that for a very long time, well, ever since I started it). I'll keep you informed about all that as time wears on.

With that being said, all I can do is apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused & ask is for your forgiveness.
